'Who reigns over US polity

USA is the ruling state of the world and hence possesses the position of the global leader:
October is the 10th anniversary of the US-led invasion of Afghanistan, the beginning of the 2012 federal austerity budget, and the month in which demonstrations in the US have heated up. It's no longer just about corporate greed and the crooked banksters, Americans are fighting to take back and change the US political system, end policies which create a wealth divide and take back the democracy which they feel they have lost.

Scores of Copts leave faith over divorce laws

Uploaded by AlJazeeraEnglish on 1 Oct 2011 - More than 100 Coptic Christians in Egypt have left the Church in recent weeks in a dispute over its strict divorce laws. Some followers in the church are now questioning whether the canons should be changed after Pope Shenouda III restricted divorce to cases of adultery or conversion to another religion.The revision excludes justifications of impotence, abandonment, abuse and mental disability which was allowed by the 1938 Coptic bylaws.
